If it is a nonprofit organization, I would recommend checking with local businesses such as Walmart and Target because they do give back to the community in donations. However, there is a government database for federal grants located at Grants.gov. On the state side, I recommend searching the state government's website.

With safety installations it is always a good idea to check via the local council. They have a number of shemes for financial aid for improvements of safety adaptations.
