what does it mean when a girl says she wants someone who doesn't compliment her? i know too much is a turn off, but would she prefer someone who's disinterested? should i just brush this comment off?

It may not mean that she wants someone who is disinterested, but maybe someone who will try to get to know her as a person and genuinely instead of trying to flatter her with empty comments. Also, perhaps she might be wary of a guy trying to win her over too hard because he want some kind of sexual gratification. That said, all females love compliments, but if she says that she doesn't like this, the best thing to do is wait until you get closer and she's sure of your position and intentions before doleing out the praise.
Or she may just be embarassed about getting compliments, and doesn't know how to react to them.

Maybe she was referring to insincere or impersonal compliments. Some guys think they can blurt out "You're beautiful" to a girl and that's all it takes to make her happy. But after the millionth time some sleazy stranger has said that to you while leering at your body or some horny date has said it hoping it will inspire you to get naked, you might wish to have NO compliments unless they are sincere and personal, something particular to you, and not in exchange for what he can get.

I would just brush the comment off, may be she wants to be complimented to a certain degree but don't overdo it.

Well compliment is good i know girls love that but too much is bad man. Just you know not everyday lol every once in a while is good tho. I know this for a fact cuz i have done it.

yeh. absolutely. no doubt about. don't believe a word of that just play the little game with her. claim to be the same way etc. the accidently pay a compliment and immediately apologize. life is just a dream voody ooh ooh oooh. life goes on without you.

Maybe this girl is sick of compliments. It seems like she doesn't like attention? Sorry maybe you should ignore the comment. Girls are quite confusing.

maybe she just want to hav some thrill in a elationship..she might want to encourage differences for a time coz moments are that life is boring with similarities ..well i dont know actually...they say that differences is the place where couples grow best

sometimes compliments are only ways to have sex .
and maybe she has gone through that before.
just be cool and don't over do it.
you can tell her how nice/pretty she looks at certain times but don't be telling her all the time.

It means you are too impressed by her and she feels like a statue or object rather than a person. No one wants to be made to feel like that. I have that problem.....it sucks being so damned good looking.
