Have you used your dress for anything else?
My friend used her dress in the making of 1 girl baptism dress and 2 for her little boys.

I have worn my wedding dress for the past 2 years as a Halloween costume. My daughter and I went as princesses.

I wore my dress out to dinner a few times after the wedding & I have made christening outfits from the train of a wedding dress that I made for a woman.

12 months after I was married I transformed my wedding dress from a big flouncy full skirted strapless white dress into a sleek sexy short well-fitted cocktail dress and dyed it hot pink! At least I got to wear it again and it has been a real talking point when I have it on. I had a very clever dressmaker though who did a very professional & fantastic job.

Our wedding was renaissance-themed, so the dress I wore at the wedding now serves as my all-purpose renaissance gown for medieval re-enactment events.

You can donate your dress for charity. I may do that after my wedding!
