My family and a few friends had a party for my 16th birthday and I slept with my brother.
I found out a few days ago I'm now pregnant.
What can I do?

Edit: We were drunk at the time and neither of us stoped it from happening.

well you have two choices, to keep the baby or to terminate the pregnancy.

Are you positive that this is your brothers baby?
You need to speak to a counseller. Children born out of incest are at higher risk of physical and mental deformities.

Go see a Doctor explain your situation and given your brother is the father you need to seriously consider a termination. If you go full term this baby could have extreme and serious birth defects.
Again I ask the question, are you absolutely sure you are pregnant to your brother? If the answer is yes then this is a very serious issue of sexual abuse. Questions you will be asked may include the following;
Did you agree to have sex with your brother? Or, were you coerced into it? Even worse, raped by him? No matter the answer you are not at fault or responsible. These acts are not random.
If he is older than you then he is the one at fault for not recognising the problems this would cause, using self control and not showing you the respect you deserve as his sister.
Or, has he been setting this up for sometime now? This is sexual abuse of you and is a chargeable offence under the law.
Go see a Doctor and have a checkup and tell your family of what has/is happening with your brother, report it to the Police if he has been 'grooming' you for this to happen. It is highly unlikely to have 'been an accident' the fact it was your 16th birthday indicates he wanted to have the 'pleasure' of taking your virginity. It is highly complex what is going on here and you need to seek help straight away. And know this is NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOUR on your brothers part in any way shape or form.
Take charge of your body, it is yours and no one is allowed to touch it in any way that is not acceptable to you.
If this is not real then it has still been worthwhile for there may be someone out there who has experienced this abuse and is looking at these answers to seek help for themself.
Do not ignore this situation as it will only get worse and most definitely will 'not go away'. Good luck and take care of you. It is obvious the adults cannot.

Sh1t. ...... Baad news.

I'd tell him first of all. You will have to tell your parents eventually, I reckon; and when the parents know they'll almost certainly stop you seeing your brother (Awful, but they'd do it because they don't want you to be doing your brother. Besides which kids born from closely related people are more likely to have health problems).
Sources: Eastenders, various books and movies dealing with the subject.

I personally would suggest aborting it, but if you and your brother are prepared to look after it (and tell it how it came about), then by all means keep it.

It doesn't matter what happend or how. You need to let someone know about this and get some mental help for you and the family. this is going to be hard either way you look at it. was this willing? There is a lot you need to fig out. GOOD LUCK

I'm not even going to ask how that happened or why it happened but it's going to be tough for you on deciding what to do about it. You should probably either turn to your parents or some adult you can trust and discuss your options. 3 choices can be made, keep the child even though it could be born with genetic defects, adoption or abortion. On a side note, your brother should have his butt kicked!

i would end the pregnancy. Incest resulting in pregnancy leads to major deformities in the baby. add in the fact that you are only 16. add in the fact that this child was concieved under completely inappropriate circumstances. unless your from one of those places where this isn't frowned upon...then prepare yourself for an abnormal child. (and family life) sorry to be so blunt. but, at least the fetus won't ever remember being a mistake.

If this is a for real question, and it is his i hjope you are willing to take on the responsability of a possible deformed child. Go and talk to you parents and brother asap. but how could you sleep with your brother drunk or not.

first of all haing sex with your brother is the biggest, nastiest mistake you can possibly make. i'm not here to judge you so you should think about getting an abortion because your baby may have a good possibilty of having some kind of birth defects

Do I want to know why you slept with your brother of all people? Was there alcohol served at the party? Do your parents know about this? This is not a good situation for you to be at your age. Good Luck.

you need lots greater helpful information. which is composed of a DNA examine. You act in an extremely loose way, because you assert "i think of the dad is my terrific F brother" and now you ask for help to ward off the ensuing hailstorm-- have you ever learnt to ward off drunken events, based on the end results of your foolishness?
