No two-weeks notice, no nice words. Just 30,000 letters of resignation, handed in all at the same time. Something to the tune of -- Due to the incarceration of two of my colleagues in the Border Patrol, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, I no longer believe that I can perform my lawful duties without fear of prosecution by your own federal attorneys and federal judges. Therefore, I hereby resign my position in the United States Border Patrol, effective immediately.Yours respectfully
Turn in your guns, badges, vehicles, keys, uniforms, and any other U.S. government property with your letter, so you don't get wrongly accused of stealing and end up in the slammer for that.
Would people who live near the Border sleep well, knowing that their was no Border Patrol ? Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean reported to prison on January 17, 2006. Illegal Alien and Drug Smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davilla is laughing all the way to the bank.

If the two don't get a pardon I would be worried that they probably should especially if they can't get a break for doing their job.

BRAVO! God bless these brave men who would do their duty in the face of the persecution of liberal morons. Two men who risk their lives to protect our border are going to jail. And one scum of the earth who provides drug to our children is pardoned and probably going to get 4 million bucks. SHAME on you if you do not stick up for these men. Go to grassfire.org and see what you can do to express your support and anger!!!

By the way. The exaimer who removed the bullet said the entry wound in the SIDE of the buttocks was consistant with someone who was running away but turned back to face them as he ran. Sounds like he was pointing a gun back at the men to me...
Without PROOF that their account was wrong why are they assumed to be guilty. The guy had over 700 POUNDS of illeagal drugs. He HAD a gun...

The drug smuggler was also arrested again this time with over 1000 lbs of weed. But because he was still under immunity he was released. They needed to shoot to kill not just wound
And we all know that its a lie that he didn't have a weapon.Hes a scummy drug dealer, you KNOW he had a weapon.

Ok, if i was one i would. Im very serious. I know its hard to up and quit a job when you have a family to feed and all that good stuff, but sometimes you have to take morals into consideration.
If every border agent quit maybe it would wake up the people who sent those guys to prison.

I'd bow down and give each one a metal..... the two that are now in jail should be given a presidential pardon for there heroic act of trying to keep drugs off our streets and out of our kids hands

look, no one is more anit-illegal than me but these two clowns are not totally innocent. It is agents like this that make it harder and harder for us to be more strict with our borders.

I'm sure their actions have helped to put even more limitations on the authority of the individual border patrol officer to carry out their job. Had they been honest about the situation from the start and not tried to cover it up, they probably wouldn't be in so much trouble.

I sure wouldn't blame them if they did. Nothing like giving you a job to do and then tie your hands behind your back. It's getting harder and harder for any law inforcement to their job.

You really need to get over it already. Those men are getting what they deserve that is why they are in prison. What does border patrol accomplish anyway?

They might as well for all they accomplish.
