Absolutely....Jesus said Paul was persecuting him when he was persecuting the Christians....
Nevertheless, God has greatly blessed the Church and expanded it in spite of the hatred of its enemies.

Many times it's not really God that people are against. It's the self-proclaimed righteous christians that's annoying people. Many Christains (thinking they are better than others) constantly attack other's religions. I am not saying all Christains, but many don't really understand what the word God and Jesus mean. They just follow blindly and believe everything what the pastors/ministers say. The churches interpret the bible the way they want it to mean and then would tell people that this is God's word.

People who are against Christianity generally don't believe in that particular God. So no, theyre not.
I am not against Christianity, or any particular religion - rather I am against religion itself. It is blindly followed by millions of people who often never question why it is the way it is. Most religions follow 'handbooks', such as the Bible or the Qu'ran, which although are apparently the words of God, were written by man. How can one know that it is the 'word of God', and not just some bored man deciding to see how badly he can mess up mankind? While religion gives absolute comfort to some, it also causes absolute pain to others. The most awful things in the world are done in the name of religion. It truly is a source of evil.

Go forth to all corners of the world and preach the gospel.
Christians have been very good at doing this for the last 2000 years. Its called Proselytizing.
And its VERY annoying because christians do NOT seem to know when enough is enough.

No, today Christianity is the largest religion in the world mainly because it is historically the most violent religion in the world, it got big by force.
Those against Christianity would be against the Christian God, one of the thousands of Gods that have been worshiped throughout history.
And I think you should learn how to use the Caps Lock.

Although Gamaliel is of the Sanhedrin would it not be confusing if he stated something like this as if opposing his own? Obviously, God made him said those things... The bible says that the antichrist is the one who denies God the Father and His son,Jesus. Those who do not follow the teachings of Christ and does not recognize God as the Supreme being. With that said, the question should be what is true Christianity that people should follow?

I could care less about your God, it's your religion that I don't like. I don't like the way y'all try to force everyone to believe the same as you. I don't like the way you all threaten people with hell, fire and damnation.
Christianity is the largest religion because of a violent campaign of repression of other religions over a period of hundreds of years. Countless thousands of people were murdered, maimed, and exiled in the process. The common people did not give up their cherished beliefs easily. Eventually, the monolithic organization of the Christian church, bolstered by threats of economic isolation and assisted by an energetic propaganda campaign, triumphed over the valiant but unsophisticated tribes.

No. Religious statistics like that are irrelevant. Would you like to know which religions are the fastest-growing? Islam and Paganism. Does that little nugget fit into your worldview?

Hey, nonreligious people have made some progress and are now at number 3. We're larger than the Hindus.

Possibly Christianity is larger because of the whole no-birth-control thing?

Most people don't care about Christianity one way or another. What they DO care is when they claim ownership of the "right and proper" way to divinity and declare all other modes of thought as false.
