she knows the comand potty and to go in the box. on her own she always goes into the box to go # 2, but for # 1 she will only use the box when we put her in it. i have the outside of the box lined in newspaper and that's where she goes # 1. why? she is only 8 weeks old.

The only option is to put her outside, when you want her to go,knowing when she wants to,is another matter.Look for signals sniffing the floor, anxious ,making a fuss.Place her out side either closing the door or staying outside with her until she has been ,then praise her performance give her a treat.She will be happy when she goes walkies.

Why do you have a box for a dog to go the bathroom in a dog should be going out side to go the bathroom do you live in an apartment ?

pugs are stubborn my dog didnt get the whole training deal until we started giving her treats. enjoy her as a puppy the are the cutest damn dogs ever but still fun when they grow up
