Give her something very personal like a framed photo of you and your siblings if you have any. She will love that.
Or you could go with the scented candles, bath salts or flowers. Something that is for her wellness.

Everyone of that age uses face cream. So maybe get her day and night moisturiser.. The larger pharmacies generally have gift sets. Take a look at the ones she has to find out skin type.
Or a voucher for a local beauty salon - or hairdresser.

I have three ideas. I have done all three of these and my mom has loved them. I don't know what type of lady your mom is but maybe she would enjoy these two. The first one is obvious, take her out to dinner. I took my mom out to dinner last year. We both got dressed up and went to a place of her choice. She said the best thing was me taking out my debit card to pay for dinner. We just had an all around nice time, just the two of us. The second idea is a charm bracelet. I made my mom a charm bracelet and I put a charm to represent each of us in the family. She cried when I gave it to her. My third idea is make her a picture frame that has to do with the two of you. I made my mom a frame with four pictures. It had her senior year high school picture along with mine. Then a picture of the two of us from when i was younger along with one that was taken more recently. I decorated it and everything. She absolutely loved the idea and especially because i made it myself. Hope these help. Good luck!

Get a mom a gift certificate at her favoriest nail or hair salon. Your mom need a make over. Perhaps, you should book your mother an appointment for massage. Your mother have done a lot over the years, now she can relaz and enjoy herself on her b-day.........

Why not take her shopping so she can choose something herself and enjoy a day out with you at the same time. Maybe you could buy lunch.... She is the same age as me and I'd love a day out with my daughter. Failing that you could get tickets for a film/show/spa and spend time with her that way...

You know your mum better than anyone so if anyone knows the ideal gift for her, it would be you. All I can say is try to find out what she would really want and get her that.
