As long as she is babbling and learning to get her point across, then your baby is fine. Every baby learns words at their own pace. My daughter is 15 months old and has a vocabulary consisting of 6 words and occasional others that wander in now & then (but don't get said again). But she is very vocal about what she wants and needs :)

No reason for alarm - my son on no account mentioned dada dada and mama mama! He began talking at 14 months, grow to be on sentences by skill of 15 months. Now he's definitely certainly one of the terrific audio device in his grade (he's a junior in severe college) with an spectacular vocabulary. My oldest brother did no longer talk till he grow to be 4 (he has an IQ of 157). there is truly some thing stated as the Einstein Syndrome the place vibrant babies talk previous due. that's documented that he did no longer talk till 4 - Thomas Edison did no longer talk till 4 ether. in all probability, he's talking by skill of different skill. maybe mom and pa assume his desires or his siblings do each and all of the talking. that's trouble-free to study if he's awareness and talking. Play video games the place he has to %. products out of a pile of a number of issues. for example, positioned a number of of his popular issues on a blanket - trouble-free words like ball and motor vehicle - then play a sport the place you %. them up and supply them to one yet another. See if he can comprehend the a number of words and pay attention if he tries to repeat, even in infant language.

I think it's fine that this is all she's saying. Some babies don't need to say much and others just can't shush up. Talk to her about everything. If your wiping down a bench - tell her, If your tying your shoes - tell her, sing her song's play games with her and eventually she'll say more. It's not a race so don't push her but the more you communicate with her the more words she'll learn.

Relax Mom. Normally children don't start to talk until they are 18 months or older. Even then some don't say many words. 11 months old is still a lottle young.

Don't sweat it. Mine was a slow talker in the beginning (which is shocking considering her Mommy talks for a living). Now at 3.5, I can't shut her up. She says off the wall thing,s too-talks about metamorphosis and vertebrae, and aurora borialis!

Don't stress over it. She'll be fine!
