That is a good thing! She is probably barking because she is happy to see him! When my husband comes home, I always tell our Rat Terrier, "Daddy's home!" She runs to the door and barks at him until he pets her!
If your dog is barking like she is going to attack him, I would take her to a dog obedience school.

If she still continues to bark when you husband comes in and she can see him you might want to have him spend a lot more time with her make it seem like a treat when he's around. Some dogs don't like males and are female dogs but a little man to dog bonding time can fix that. If she barks at him just until she sees who it is than its nothing. She is guarding her territory and any sounds that might startle her for even a second or aren't planned for can make it seem like there is an intruder. She's just being a dog if thats the case.

Dogs know by instinct when their owners are coming home. If you're at home one day and your husband's at work, watch the dog to see if it sits by the door and starts barking when he comes home.
The barking is her way of saying 'hello, nice to see you again, how was your day?'
