season the outside and the inner cavity with a seasoning rub and rosemary. Stuff some garlic cloves, chopped onion, chopped apple in the cavity. Put the chicken in a roasting pan and cook in a preheated oven at 350-375 degrees for about 1-1 1/2 hours or until the juices run clear. But the length of time depends on the size of the chicken ( sometimes a small one can only take 45 mins). Always make sure it is fully thawed prior to cooking. Also if you cover the chicken the outside will be softer if left uncovered it will be crisper. Just depends on how you like it.
Other good herbs to use are tarragon and a good seasoning salt to use is Tony Chachere's (it works on anything) or Bolner's Fiesta Brand Uncle Chris Gourmet Steak Seasoning

It depends on how ou're cooking it. But I know if you're going to barbecue it, flatten the whole thing to where it looks like a car ran over it-seriously. My friend flattened 2 whole chickens (cleaned and ready to go, of course!) and put them on the grill for a couple of hours, Good stuff!

chicken cooks at 20 min. per lb. Put the chicken in a cooking bag, then put it in a pyrex dish. Sprinkle Rosemary on the chicken and put an onion in it.
Put it in at 350F, and you can see when it's done through the cooking bag.
