He may have been a peaceful man but there is nothing wonderful about leading people to think he was the way that was deceiving to a lot of people that should have been guided to Jesus.
Jesus gave his life for us and showed us the truth and way.
However we can give credit to Buddha for showing people how fat they can get.

I love Buddha and indeed he was a wonderful human being. I wish I had the chance to meet him.

I'm agnostic on the idea of whether or not Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha - the first one) was a "wonderful human being"

Do you mean the current Buddha? He isn't a saint, but he isn't evil. He works for his people, but he works for himself too.

I think if you put people up on Pedistools, you are bound to be disappointed.

The Buddha was deeply intuitive, altruistic and wise. I agree he was a wonderful human being.

Historically, he was a good man. Very bright, and compassionate.

Edit: I just love the fact that being Christian keeps one from even commenting on another human being, no matter how positive his influence.

Sad, so sad.
