I've never gotten a B in my life, but my next report card has three B's on it. How do I tell my parents?

Be honest. Explain to them that you're just struggling a bit right now, but you are determined to pull them up by the time report cards come out at the end of the year. Also, if you need help...ask them if they will assist you in enlisting the help of a tutor. Unless you are doing your very best and you know it...NEVER settle for better than what you can possibly score. Always strive for excellence.

If ya need any homework help, e-mail me. I can help you out or I can give you the addresses of some tutoring sites.

A B is a bad grade??? I could only wish for a B in school. Just hand them your report card and sit there... if they are good parents.. they will understand... they won't be mad

Just come right out and tell them. They are going to find out one way or another. I always tell my boys to come right out and tell me whatever before I hear about it from someone else.....In general all three of them are pretty open about whatever is on there mind.....

Good luck and I would not think they would be to upset. You sound upset at yourself as it is....

Well don't hide it thats for sure, but just tell them the truth. You shouldn't lie to your parents. Jut say you didn't try as hard as you could this last semester

Present it to them as a concern and say you're hoping you can figure out what went wrong and could they help you. If you care about your grades then that should show.

First of all tell them straight out. A B is a good grade and they should understand. Tell them you will try harder.

Just tell them. No excuses; a B is still better than average
