Something non-surgical, I have heard of Nasal Septoplasty, but don't want to go that far.

Thank you

You can get the same nasal strips the football players use which strap across the bridge of the nose clinging to each side of the nose. The strips will lightly pull the nose open more. You can buy them in any drugstore.

Are you suggesting that your nose, because of having been broken or deformed, is not able to flare open enough for natural breathing to take place? If I were you I would first try a really high quality, pure, unadulterated Peppermint essential oil. Put a drop right at the base of the nose and breathe (at night, for example). Diffuse with Peppermint essential oil. Drink a drop in a glass of water.

Make sure you have ruled out all impediments to breathing that you can control: smoking yourself, hanging with smokers, allergents, prescription drugs, and air quality in your house, place of work, community. Eat well. Exercise.

And then I found this:

A new injectable procedure is able to give patients the nose they want, at least for a year or so. Cosmetic surgeons can now straighten bends and bumps in the nose using the non-surgical procedure. The dermatological wrinkle filler radiesse is injected into the areas on the nose with bumps which in effect camouflage any ‘deformities’, making the nose straighter. Radiesse is comprised of tiny calcium crystals much like those that make up bones.

The procedure costs much less than rhinoplasty, at between US$800 and US$1500 and generally takes between five to ten minutes.

all the best!

Yes, you can buy "breathe-right" strips that go across your nose to widen the openings for better breathing. I use them when I sleep. They come in skin color or clear. You can buy them at the grocery store, Walgreens, Brooks, or CVS.

They work great!

I agree with lovechi. It's called a neti pot and it works amazingly!!! Go to a healthfood store and you'll find essential oils. Peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender work great for decongesting, but the Neti pot works the best. Neil med makes a great modernized netipot and pre-measured salt packets for the saline solution.
