I'm 35 and I've always had the same problem. Thay is till this year. I've found the answer. (I'm a Alt. Med majior) Its not easy but its truley the only thing that will help some people like us. Its health and nutrition. Its the only thing that going to help. Your hormones are directly related to what you put in your body and what you take out. Polution/smoking/drinking/lack of exsersize/oils and crap in general build up in your body and turn toxic. Some people in more ways then one. Some people mention the pill and hormones. Yea, but hormones naturally are effected buy envirerment and lifestyle. Detox in a healthy way. Eat well, exersize and suplament! Oh and when you wash your face use a bit of tea tree oil on a cotton ball. Use this on all break outs as they happen too! Its the best!

Acne or blemish-prone skin is a remarkably common skin condition. While many adolescents may experience acne, this condition also can appear for the first time in adults in their 20s or 30s or even later in life. Generally, however, if you had acne as a teenager, you are more likely to have it again as an adult. Eighty to 100 percent of all teenagers have acne to some degree, and an increasing number of adult women also have some acne.

Limit the number of layers ofcosmetics products they apply and to avoid any products containing oil.

Excessive scrubbing or frequent cleansing will not control it, and any rough manipulation of the skin may further irritate and inflame the lesions or even lead to the formation of new acne lesions.

Mary Kay offers a Gentle Cleanser, Oil Mattifier, Blemish Control Toners, a wonderful clarifying mask for blemish prone skin, Acne Treatment Gel and Beauty Clotters oil obsorbing tissues that will help. If you go to www.marykay.com/kaylexasmom you will find them under the skin care portion as well as information on the main page. Well, I am 27 and have been battling adult acne ever since I went off the pill 9 months ago. I was doing different types of peels and microderm and treating w/ benzoyl peroxide. Then last month I went on a cruise and got a facial and the woman said I'd "stripped" my skin and all it needed was moisture and lots of it. It was VERY scary to not treat my skin like acne-ridden skin, but she was right and it has almost totally cleared up! So consider that. Also, you might want to talk to your doctor about a possible hormone imbalance or even rosaeca. (sp)

It's time to see a dermatologist.
If you go there/have been there and nothing helps, you're on your own and just need to wait for it to hopefully go away.
So many people complain they've tried everything, but end up saying they've never seen a professional to diagnose a problem.
It costs money but having a nice appearance and skin is worth the extra cash.

I have had the same problem. I have been on accutane twice, and so many other anti biotics. It happened again, so I went to my skin doctor and she perscribed Ziana acne gel, its new..
It works!!!!!!! All my pimples started to dry up and flake off. Also, just in case have her put you on an antibiotic, just to help it along. But keep using the gel even after the acne has cleared up...you wont be sorry.

Good luck to you.

I would ask your doc about Accutane. It's prescribed for the worse type of acne. I believe its supposed to be a last alternative if nothing else has worked. Antibotics might also work for you as well.
Good luck.

Its a hormonal change. Women tend to go through about 7 to 8 of these spells throughout their lives. No worries it will get better.

My mom is 48 and still has small breakouts...because she has oily skin. Nothing you can really do about it if your skin is oily in the first place except wash it twice a day and keep your make-up to a minimum.
