First of all you've to know the cause of your sore throat.....
*If it's bacterial infection you've to take anitbiotics (mainly Penicillin cure sore throat), but if it's viral infection antibiotics do not cure viral infections.

How Can you Treat your Sore Throat?
A mild sore throat associated with cold or flu symptoms can be made more comfortable with the following remedies:

*Increase your liquid intake.
*Warm tea with honey is a favorite home remedy.
*Use a steamer or humidifier in your bedroom.
*Gargle with warm salt water several times daily: ¼ tsp. salt to
½ cup water.
*Take over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen
(Tylenol Sore Throat®, Tempra®) or ibuprofen (Motrin IB®,
Advil®).

*Suck on a throat lozenge or hard candy.
*Avoid smoke and other air pollutants.
*Rest your voice.

Other herbs that may reduce cold symptoms including, possibly, sore throat include:

Garlic (Allium sativum)
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

Like the others said, rest your voice, don't talk, drink soothing liquids. But if your voice isn't back to normal by Saturday, don't do the contest. I know it would be disappointing, but trust me, it's better not to sing than to sing poorly. You're not missing the opportunity of a lifetime by not singing. There will be more contests.

Ok, this may sound disgusting (because it is) but it has always worked wonders for me before All State auditions.

Make some tea, or just hot water, put lemon in it and put a little vinegar.

It tastes fully foul, but it helps clear everything. Also, don't speak. Try not to talk as much as possible. Your vocal folds might just be tired.

First of all do not try and talk, completely rest your v.c's
No caffeine, or dairy products, as they produce mucus which will irritate your throat further. The honey and lemon is a good idea, as well as a gargle of warm salt water about 3x's a day.
Good Luck.
