I have a wart on my foot and a friend of mine told me that the stench of the sock would kill the wart.

is that friend still hanging out with you? or do you spend your weekends alone, (if you have any friends left I would bet they know when your coming)
warts are caused by a virus living under your skin, so wearing your socks like that would probably cause more warts..
because there is not a good chemical to kill the virus with out doing other harm to your body, most wart removal systems involve acid applied to the wart itself or freezing of the skin down to the level of the virus, please go to your local grocery store or pharmacy and pick up something to remove the wart that wont drive away the friends you have left

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you wash the socks every day after use.
Just go to your local chemist and ask for some wart removal, or if too embarrassed, find a chemist not in your area, either way, kill the wart not your friends.

The wart will be alive and healthy but your family will be wilting from the smell!!!!
Cot a piece of gaffer tape just as big a the top of the wart, stick it over and leave it there until it drops off. When it does then put another piece on...eventually the wart will die through lack of oxygen;

I would just go and get it taken care of by a Doctor, to me wearing socks that long could give you other major problems worse than a wart. Be careful.

your friend's wrong and you know it- you're looking for silly answers.... but i'll give you a good one- wash well and wear clean clothes everyday- Cleanliness is next to godliness. The wart will fade in time or you will have to get some medication for it which will help to remove it

OMG!........not only would that kill the "wart", (commonly known as a verucca on the foot), it would probably kill everything else!.ewwwwwwww. lol. A good way to be rid of veruccas is to squeeze the juice from the stalk of a dandelion, place it over your verucca, and cover with a plaster or small bandage.....do this until it drops of, and it does work, my daughter is living proof!
