i do no longer see the link between evolution and atheism. Atheism merely skill you lack the assumption in a god or gods. Edit: no longer each and every atheist accepts evolution as fact, whether the share is probably fairly small. I additionally do no longer see the will for the condescending tone. i do certainly no longer bear in mind then returned evolution is greater powerful than some stupid e book or sky daddy fairy memories, whether it grow to be excellently positioned by skill of whoever did. Ranting a pair of undertaking won't exchange something, nor will asking questions on it on the information superhighway. All you're attaining is soothing your overly-great ego. @ King of Hearts: So, you notice no want for a condescending tone, yet then use it your self? i assume you apart from mght see the will for hypocrisy? Re-Edit: I have not any condescending tone. that's how I regularly talk. And no, hypocrisy could be your element, having a faith.

oh dear. I don't really like to get into this here with so many points of view but I'm a Christian who already knows about evolution. I even believe the "days" in Genesis may not have been literal 24 hour days. Yikes. Have you learned that Christians aren't as homogenous as you'd like to stereotype us as being?

That the adherents of evolution try to write their own version of how things got to be the way they are based on false evidence, evidence that is selected for use if it supports the theory, evidence that is not selected for use if it throws any doubt on the validity of the theory, and on other fallacious forms of reasoning. This is way much more obvious to me than it ever was before. From what I've seen of the responses on this site I have come to the conclusion that the study of the theory of evolution is based almost entirely on the sinful nature of unregenerate man, who desires to prove that God doesn't exist.

Evolution happens but some Atheist have more faith in evolution theory than Christians have in the Bible record. It sure requires a lot of faith to believe that there is no God behind this all..

I really hope someone has realized that the 'it's just a theory argument' doesn't hold up, that we DIDN'T evolve from monkeys, and that Darwin DIDN'T recant on his deathbed. I'll settle for that for now.
