First thing is call the bank and explain your circumstances to them and ask for a deferment. If you situation is temporary that is the best thing you can do. Most banks and finace company are more than happy to do this because it is easier than repo ing it and reselling it at an auction. If you do not want to keep the car call the bank and surrender the vehicle. They can help you set up a time, date and place to give back the vehicle and you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder for the repo man. Hope this helps in your situation!!

Sorry to hear about your situation. The dealership no longer owns the vehicle. The bank does. Call them to see if you can refinance your loan. Most of the time they will work with you if you are in good standing. You may also want to check your insurance policy. Depending on what you have, they will make the payments if you are unable to work.

Yes you can. Within 3 days of signing the paperwork. It won't be easy though. They will tell you no, and it will be up to you to go as far as getting a lawyer involved. I think your only way out of your financial responsability is if your car is stolen and not found, and pray you have GAP-Insurance!

Good luck!

You can only return a car (in Texas) within the first 72 hours of purchase. Try selling it at Carmax or online at any number of sites like: cars.com; carsdirect.com; cars.forsalebyowner.com, etc.
