Hell is a terrible place I pray that no one goes there,it is the place reserved firstly for the devil and the fallen angels,we can only end up there by living a life of complete denial of Christ and habitual sin.
This is a description of Hell that came out of an official exorcism,
Hell is that place where everyone lives folded up within themselves and torn apart by their regrets, there is no relationship with anyone, each one finds himself in the most profound solitude and desperately weeps for the evil that he has commited,it is like a cemetary.

The degree of punishment in Hell will be commensurate with one's sin against the light which one has received.
One good passage that indicated degrees of punishment is Luke 12:47-48: "That servant who know his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be BEATEN WITH MANY BLOWS. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be BEATEN WITH FEW BLOWS. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked". Other verses on this issue include MAT 10:15; 16:27; Rev. 20:12,13; 22:12.
Jesus affirmed that the wicked "will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life" (Mat 25:460

Hell is a Ertenal seration from God! When David sinned by committing adultery with Bathsheba and having Uriah murdered, he responded by saying something interesting: “Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight…” (Psalm 51:4). David had sinned against Bathsheba and Uriah, how could David claim to have only sinned against God? David understood that all sin is ultimately against God. God is an eternal and infinite Being. As a result, all sin is worthy of an eternal punishment.

Yes, God loves us (John 3:16) and wants us to be saved (2 Peter 3:9). God is also just and righteous – He cannot allow sin to go unpunished. That is why God sent Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus’ death was an infinite death, paying our infinite sin debt – so that we would not have to pay it in Hell for eternity (2 Corinthians 5:21). All we have to do is place our faith in Him and we are saved, forgiven, cleansed and promised an eternal home in heaven. God loved us so much to provide for our salvation. If we reject His gift of eternal life, we will face the eternal consequences of that decision.

Here are some more Scriptures I encourage you to look at:

According to Buddhism it's a mental construct that you're reborn to if your karma and state of mind at death is far from "good"... there are many hell realms to be reborn into too... descriptions are quite "juicy"... like the one where you're totured, limbs ripped from body, flesh too, etc. and you fall down dead, then a voice tells you to get back up and it happens all over again... then there's one where the floor is made of a substance like metal and it's flaming hot and you have no shoes and you run across the floor driven by beings, trying to get relief but your flesh burns off of your feet, you burn your legs off, then everything automatically reappears at a certain point and you're off and running again.... think Dante's Inferno and you'll get a basic idea, but way more in-depth.... and way more "fun".

Everybody/every church has their own ideas what hell is. It is a place that does not sound good.

Which one? The one where those who refuse to repent go and pay for their own sins and eventually get out when they have paid all that is due? Or the one for the devil and his followers who never get out?
