Sorry hun, but at 3 weeks, you still have a lot of time to go-
After my first daughter was born I thought my hormones would be back to normal, my body would be back to normal, and my stretch marks would magically disappear by my 6 week doctor appt.
Sadly, it was not so.
For me, it took a good 6-8 months before my stretch marks were noticeably lighter, but they were still noticeable. Every body is different depending on your skin type and it's elasticity, but I hate to tell you that they'll never disappear, just fade a lot over time. Unfortunately you'll always have those.
Some people swear by cocoa butter lotions and stretch mark creams, some are really expensive, but have a money back guarantee. Personally, I have NO CLUE how these can claim to get rid of stretch marks since they are rips and tears from the INSIDE of your stomach not the outside, so how would lotion help??? But if they bother you that much, you might want to pick up a bottle and try it, Motherhood Maternity sells some for about $5.

You dont get loose skin cause of stretch marks. You not having enough skin around the stomach area for belly to grow is what caused the stretch marks. You will notice your stretch marks getting lighter after you lose the baby weight. Use mederma or stretch mark palmers cocoa butter it might help.

Depends on the person. There is no set time for them to lighten or disappear. They are just a sucky part of being preggo.
