A lot of people claim to be the second coming, and what if one of them is telling the truth? What if God tests your faith, which one are you going to believe? If he/she walks up to you and tells you they're Christ, would you have the faith to believe them, or would you think they were just another loon?Or would you follow them blindly and possibly end up with them wanting to have sex with you and then kill you in a ritualistic fashion?(if they were an actual nutter) What if you do what the majority of Jews did and think that the Second Coming is just another guy that lost his marbles? You might think you'll be able to tell, but will you really? Is the new Jesus already here, locked up in a padded cell and a straight-jacket, bouncing off the walls in some asylum?

Yeah I know all the stuff about fire and appearing from the sky etc, but what if God decides to test you all again, surely God of all things, can change his mind. Or what if it's not as obvious as all that, or you were in the basement when all the fire stuff happened, and had only to rely on the word of other people? What if a rich stuntman uses amazing visual effects and holographic technology to try and convince you? With progressing technology, it seems entirely possible.

Perhaps YOU MISSED this in the BIBLE?

(2Peter 3:3-to-13) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

(2Pe 3:4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

(2Pe 3:5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

(2Pe 3:6) Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

(2Pe 3:7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

(2Pe 3:8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

(2Pe 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(2Pe 3:10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

(2Pe 3:11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

(2Pe 3:12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

(2Pe 3:13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Thanks, RR

When Jesus returns the world will know. Besides there are many things that have to occur still before He arrives. When He does, a true Holy War will be fought and He will win. Everyone will bow before Him. Everyone will be judged. You'll know!

May God Bless you.

As the lightening in the west shines even unto the east, so shall the coming of the son of man be. You won't have to ask if Jesus has come back. The purpose of false doctrine is to confuse people and have them questioning who is the real Christ. He is coming on the last day, there will be no day after.

If Jesus were really alive today, some wacko would have killed him already. I think John Lennon may have been the Second Coming and look what happened to him.

When Jesus returns you will not confuse Him with your average psycho. The Bible plainly tells us that He will come 'on the clouds of Heaven,' and 'every eye will behold Him and confess that He is Lord on that day.'
