i know you can use the loan for a house but what about a personnal loan for a wedding.

You can refinance your first loan and take cash out to cover the wedding expense - or you could use a line of credit loan and finance the wedding that way. The deciding factors will be the amount of money you need - how much your loan is now and at what rate - and how good/bad your credit is.

...or you could just buy them two tickets to vegas...

Everyone that have tried this has been hurt very badly. You need a property to get the loan. By the time you are done spending you are so deep in debt that life us not worth living.

If you have access to VA loans, you may have access to VA foreclosure property. Buy this property if it can be gotten with the VA loan for
50% to 60% of the appraised value. Then take a home equity on the property for 10% of appraised value. You can now sell the property for 90% of appraised value, and roll your VA privilege over to another property.

Please note that it is the value of the property vs the price paid that permit you to get the cash you need.
