I make spaghetti with meatballs and sauce or browned ground beef with spaghetti sauce. I dish mine up and then squirt some ketchup on top. For me, it adds a little more sauciness and sweetness - I just like it. My husband and kids think I'm weird and that it must be a Minnesota thing (that's where I'm from, my husband isn't)

Nah... that's not weird.

Those wacky folks in Cincinnati put chili over their spaghetti.

Tell your family you're making Minneapolis-Style Sloppy Joes - over spaghetti... A long time delicacy of the Twin Cities area... lol

I personally do not. But, it is tomato based so it would blend in and might add that extra "kick" sometimes spaghetti needs...I may try it, someday, even though I am not a big fan of ketchup; I love spaghetti...maybe sometime you could add ketchup to the sauce and see if they think anything of it...maybe they will like it and don't know what they are missing.
