unfortunately most laser treatments for removal will leave scarring, you may be better and cheaper to get a cover up.

Hi, I haven't had a tattoo removed but I have been having port wine stains removed from my leg for some time. The thing with laser removal is you have to be scrupulous with hygiene-the last session I had the skin blistered and became infected and despite repeated trips to the doctor and specialist I ended up with deep scarring. The specialist surgeon cut most of it away but I am still left with a scar. Laser treatment is not something to enter into with out careful thought. I hope it goes well for you.

Yes, and it's VERY painful. The scarring is permanent. Sometimes its light, others heavy. It depends on the size age and quality of the tattoo

There is some scarring because they have to burn so many layers of skin to remove the tatoo ink but I believe it is light scarring at worst.

No there wont be any permanent scarring..only some redness will be there for a few days

The NHS should not be wasting money on such trivial procedures. You paid to have it, pay to have it removed as well. There are more worthwhile treatments to spend the money on.

Yes there will - but it'll be far less noticable than the original tattoo!

yes i have had this done it is severly painful!!
i have a scar! its disgusting!
