One guy got hold of my girlfriend through on line dating service. He fooled her that he was in love with her, and was going to marry her. He promised to help her to invest with huge returns. She transfered $60K to him. After two years, he refuses to give back money. He said there is no way she can win even if she sues him. Fair enough, no lawyer is taking the case because it is less than $100k. She contacted all the leagl places even FBI. But after some investigation, there is nothing they can do either. What else can she do to get her money back? That is almost all her life saving. Please help!!

Sometimes there are no legal remedies for stupid acts. No one made her give away her life savings. No offense but people need to be a lot more careful because tragedies do happen.Anyone who woulld give 60K to someone they do not truthfully know needs to learn not to be so gullible. I wish y'all luck.

She was duped, and was even more remiss in not having any paper trail to take him to court with. She was not very smart. She can contact a collection agency but without any documentation they probably will not even pursue the case. You would probably have to give all of the pertinent information to a professional that would track him down for a contingency fee.

Keep an eye on him & the next time he cons someone, consider the fact that you could con him back or just flat out rob his a*s! lol
