I'd spend $250 on a pioneer deck from sounddomain.com and get front component speakers and rear speakers as well. you should be able to do that for under $300. thats $550 right there. buy a used 2 channel amp off eBay to power the front components and run the rears off the deck. get a small amp off ebay and a 10 or 12" sub and a small box as well. that should cost you no more than $250 for both amps, and $100 for the sub. thats $900 out the door with money to go for some wiring and fuses and terminals. you are good to go my friend.

Alpine what? Deck, Nav system, DVD system, speakers, amps? need to be a little more specific.

A good Alpine deck will be about 5-600 spend the other 4-500 on good component speakers for the front doors. Then down the road run those speakers off a 4 channel amp, 2 channels to the front doors and 2 channels bridged to mono for a single 12" sub. It will be a decent system for under 2 grand.

if your trying to stay in that range i and want alpine i would go with type S speakers in the front and rear get the mrpmf450 4 channel alpine amp and get 2 type S 12 subs a box and a mrpm650 that should come out to about 1000 dollars. if you get cheaper speakers and amp them like the type S, you will be ten times more satisfied than having the deck power a set of type R's when they are twice as much and will sound way more like **** because you dont have the power behind them, trust me this set up you will be completely happy with, i have sold car audio for 7 years

EBAY is your best bet. For $1000 you can get a kickin system and still have some cash left over. While your at it don't plaster your car with ALPINE stickers unless you have a large dog to keep inside your car while it is sitting unattended. This is only an advertisement saying "hey come break into my car and steal my system. That being said for $1000 on EBAY you should be able to damage some hearing

I can recommend OZ audio, by JTI. Their matrix and power series subs are just amazing for the price. I've been a dealer for just over 5 years and would not recommend anything else in its price range. Truly well designed Subs.

A Pair of OZ Matrix 12" (750w rms) will run you $400-500$ They are well worth it.(i don't make commission)

Just a thought. Read their reviews.

Good Luck!

It depends on what u really want to put in there, couse u can't really go pro with that. Alpine isn't cheap. But u still can du things with that money too.
