Id say that person doesnt speak on the behalf of other Christians. I believe the whole Bible is of equal value.

All of the Bible is God's word and there is so much we can learn from the Old and New Testaments. That person did not speak for most of us, in fact anyone that really studied the Bible knows better!

Whoever said that was probably not a traditional mainstream Christian. Most Christians revere the other parts of the Bible, too. Some Christian groups, like the fundamentalists, believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God from cover to cover.

That answer made no sense. Jesus based his words on the rest of the Bible. Several times he referred to the Old testament as being the Word of God. If the Bible was inspired by God, then it is just as important as the words Jesus spoke. Of course you have to read them in their context.

following any words is a waste of time. having the right thoughts, speaking the right words and doing the right actions in life are all that matter. So far the bible, koran, buddhist scriptures and any other religious books have not made any difference. Just look at us....

Yes it is, we believe it is the inspired word of God. He told us about Moses and the other prophets so we had a history of their faith. The whole Bible shows who God is. He is in every part of it.

The Bible is the Inspired word of God. We should trust the Lord with such faith as a child. It's for the Saints, the lost, the children, the world.
