I know there is a story that led up to the first sub 4 minute mile. Like all the peoples training methods. I need websites and other credible resources. Thanks.

I never read it, but there's a book called "The Perfect Mile" by Niel Bascomb. i think they ran 800s and stuff not just miles. Hope this helps.

There are a lot of biographies on Roger Bannister and the other men who were in that race, but nothing really of his actual training methods, or what he used to prepare just how long his workouts were and when/where

Go on Google and do a search for Roger Bannister. He was the first to do it, and you should be able to find plenty of information if you dig a little.
