The main tool of the magician is your own mind.
The technique is called misdirection. The magician makes suggestions that you willingly accept. He tells you where to look, and what it is you are looking at. You believe the magician, and he takes advantage using any means he/she can. Yes, there are mirrors, and trap doors and boxes with hidden compartments... but the first tool is the mind of the beholder.

its all apart of messing with the human eye. its not real but they make you think it is. alot of times magicians play with mirrors to make you think its gone.
