I have to do a project on Chicago Art and how it impacted and showed Chicago and its inhabitants, but i cant seem to find any documents which will help me explain and prove my thesis statement. I need help finding some of those.
PS. Im looking for as far back in Chicago History as is possible.

There also seems to be an article in The Washington Post dated Jan 25, 1890 called "The Progress of Art in Chicago." But they want you to buy it. I'd see if you could find it on microfiche in the library.
