Things happen for a reason and you cant find the answer right now but you will. Ive always been fortunate enough for one to end and one to start because thats how ive coped. hasnt always worked but its made it easier. But looking back i do wish id spent more time with that one true person for la bit longer which was myself. Life is too short!

It is going to be hard, unfortunately. Not sure how long you two were together, but if it was enough to love him, then he's been embedded into your whole life. You probably can't even look yourself in the mirror without thinking about him. It's time to take some "me" time: get to know yourself again, and take this whole mess one day at a time. Before you know it, you'll be feeling much better about things! You'll still have your moments where you'll miss him like crazy, but once you get yourself to the point where you can live without him you're good!

If he loved you trust me he hasnt moved on either he is probably just acting like he has. I am doing the same thing i know i still love my ex but i tring to move on by pretending i dont love her it does help a little but to get them out of your head it takes time. You have to chill with others and start having fun you know soo you dont have time to think of the person. Just make sure you are around people as much as you can.
take care

Sorry about that. The same thing happend to me and i'm sorry to say i didn't get over him for 2 and a half years but i tried getting a new b/f that treated me the same as my ex treated me and i finally found him.... If you look hard enough you might find a guy like him sooner than i did..... I hope this helps just keep lookin for "the one" and you'll find him again maybe the one u loved wasn't really the one after all

Well I didn't think I was ever gonna get over the person that I loved even though he only thought of us as really good friends. I had to find someone just as good, or better then him, I crushed on him for a while, and since I didn't really like the guy that I have to force myself to crush on, as soon as I quit liking the dude I loved, I didn't have to like the other dude anymore.

I think the best way is to concentrate on yourself for a while, take up a class or something that will improve something about yourself (not that you need improving), or get pampered and get a makeover, it's fun and it reminds you that you're important and will be happy again... Always look forward to the future instead of thinking back... it will just take time..

No matter what you do, it's going to take a really long time. But surround yourself with supportive friends. Find a circle of them if you don't have them already. Do something you like to do. Take a trip. Get a new hobby. Keeping yourself busy until it gets easier to live with is the trick. Good luck to you.

Think of a really annoying tune/song and hum it over in your head til it annoys you so much you laugh becuase you remember why you started.

That might work for a short period but then remember that one day you'll be dead. It might be years and years away but the certainty is, you will die.

So enjoy life!
Don't sweat it!

There will be more men and more heartbreak just as there will be more women and more heartbreak for me.

Someone taught me once and the lesson has strong resonance in my way of life.

Try reading "how to break your addiction to a person" and then read "getting the love you want". Both are very helpfu books with good tips for creating a great life for yourself. Good luck!

Keep yourself busy and focus on you. Do the things you have always wanted to do, go to the gym, join in an activity, spend more time with friends and family.
