any ideas for a last minute homemade present for my mom?

This works only if you never help your mom around the house. Make up cards with different things on it. For example: help cleaning, help set up the table, help with baby sitting (if you have a younger sibling), etc. So whenever she wants a special favor from you, she can give you one of the card. Also, make up a birthday card and just write from your heart how much you love her.

A nice photo album or scrapbook, made by you, is always nice.
A framed picture of you... a heartfelt letter telling her how you feel about her.
Something personal.

Buy a photo album and put pictures of you and her in it .
Make her a card .
