The mark of the Beast is not being used now. That comes into play during the great tribulation which is in the future. The events leading up to the mark have not occur ed yet. I have done a 2 year study of the book of Revelation. You are worried for nothing.

All we know is it will be from the Anti Christ...once He rises and takes his place in this world. It said it will have the number 666 in the Bible, it says this. We do not know where the mark will be- forehead is mentioned in the Bible- but many out there are believing this to be a chip they will put in us so that we cannot buy or sell without it. Also the Bible says this will happen- that you cannot buy or sale without the mark. So maybe a cereal number on the forehead- like when you scan it, that is how you can buy and sale. Just my thoughts...I do not know exactly what the mark will look like. But those who are saved during that time, will know hopefully! Because we are not to take the mark!

it isn't. The mark of the Beast will not be used until the Tribulation period when the Anti-Christ reigns. This is still to come.

It isn't being used by either. John the Divine was referring to something that already existed, spiritually, in the Roman Empire. Prophetically, he could have been referring to the rebirth of the Roman Empire, as in the Holy Roman Empire. You couldn't buy or sell if you were considered to be a heretic.

If we knew exactly what the mark of the beast was? There might be some who think they know but I believe when it comes every believer will know and some non believers too.
