I have dental surgery tomorrow morning. I am taking pills to make me out of it. I fainted today when I signed the paperwork. I fait a lot at doctors. How can I reduce the chances of fainting tomorrow?

Eat better and drink enough water for one.

If you feel faint from getting up, it may be hypotension or impeding the blood flow in your legs, just getting up resolves this to a degree, but sit back down again before you feint let your veins flow so the arteries can bring oxygen to your brain.

that's one way

another is to power through it by staying standing until the blood gets there as needed, but you might feint, this makes it easier for blood to get to your brain because it's easier to pump horizontally than vertically.

my cure, that i use is to get up and power through but i accellerate my blood flow and oxygenation of my brain by taking a deep deep deep inspiration not holding it and letting it out again
This speeds the O2 and glucose to your brain and you recover in seconds.

One deep breath in and out without stopping can save you from hitting the floor.

Get your blood pressure checked often and monitor it and go from there. "

Drink alot of water, to maintain a good blood pressure, and don't breathe too fast.
