why me pet cat hate waters????? i try n bath her todays n she not likes it @ all!!!! she try n run away n skreem @ me,,,,,she try to scratches me,,,,,,she act like she bout to die,,,,,,,,she loose lot of furr everywere.......sometime me kidds punnish her when she try n eet there ciggerets by put her in sink n turn waters on,,,,,,she not like it!!!!! why she sooo scare of waters????she drink it all dayz!!!!

Wow, your spelling was really rough here. I had a really hard time reading this but finally got the gist.
If your kids are punishing your cat by putting her in the water, your kids need serious discipline. They have made that cat very fearful and that can also make a cat very mean in the long run.
For bathing her, there are pet wipes sold in pet stores and walmart that work GREAT! All you do is wipe the cat down and she is nice and clean. No water needed and no fuss. This actually becomes a relaxing time for your cat. I do this to my 2 cats and they have no problems with it at all.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE discipline your kids!!!!!!!! If not then find that cat a better home cause all you are doing is harming her.

Your spelling is so...creative... You should really stop your kids punishing your cat by putting it in the sink. That can be the cause for your cat's hyper fear of water. Cats relate to experiences. If a cat has a good experience, it will repeat it. It's the same vice versa. I made bathtime fun for my cat since she was a kitten, by soothing and being very gentle with her. Now she enjoys bath time(really) Try an alternitive for your cat, since I think it's already too late to try and make your cat like water. (and btw, cats just hate water, it's nature)

For some reason, cats hate water. I have NO idea why, but they just do. I mean, it IS a little odd how wild cats sometimes bathe in the water, but I guess all the rest of the race of cats hate water. They can live without touching it (except drinking it; all animals need water to survive), and that's why they lick themselves (as nasty as it is).
So whatever you do, try to avoid water with your cat, and don't get so worked up about it. It's just your cat, and its just trying to tell you (in a little bit of a bad way) that it doesn't like water.

I've never seen a cat eat cigarettes, dogs yeah. cats no. OH JEEZE if you were chucked in a sink and probably half drowned, would you want to get back in the water again?
I dont believe your story, but if you are being serious, give the cat to someone who will treat it properly.

Poor cat with all you there. Cats don't like water, unless it's water for drinking. Why can't you just let her be? There are things you don't like. How would you feel if someone would push you every day to do that just to figure it out what you hate it??? Come on... leave her alone.

that a vary old question. as far as I know, cats just hate water.
and as far as giving your cat a bath ! I strongly advise agenst it.
Cats clean them selves.
