ATTENTION MEN:

My situation was absolutely ridiculous. I remember that day very clearly, the students weer walking out of the school into the fields and these girls bothered this guy about telling them who he likes.
I was in a minor fight with some girl and we were settling some things, and at the time I was almost not at all interested in men if we weren't friends anyways. And about 10 minutes or so a bunch of girls (basically 3/4th the girls in my class, the 1/4 being me and 3 other girls who were my friends) came up to me yelling out that he liked me. I didn't really respond, I'm very laid-back and calm and was all "Oh, ok" when they told me. Hahaha!!
BUT He never really spoke to me again, but he was such a coward. :P VERY VERY unimpressive.
...and then sometime later I found that he was going out with another girl, but on his away message he sounded very desperate saying how much he wanted to touch kiss his girlfriend and meet her...That's a no-no as well. Also, when I IMed hhim he blocked me saying he didn't know who I was or something. Never saw him again anyways, but I never did and don't care for him.

Me and a close friend from junior high have always kept in touch. Once I got to college he was in the navy and we started dating. We went out for a couple of months and things were fine. After a weekend together he went back home and I didn't hear from him for a couple of days. By this point I was worried. Turned out his car broke down on the way back and he decided that we shouldn't continue our relationship since he couldn't "provide" for me. I was highly upset wondering how could a person i've know since I was a teenager do this to me. Well I saw him a couple of days ago and I could tell by the look in his eye he wish he would have kept our relationship going. I miss him but I have someone better.

It's ends up being awkward and I avoid the guy at all cost because even though he says he's not into me he is always trying to get an intimate connection with me. he'll stare in my eyes, try to touch me, and offer to do anything for me, massages. It's aweful, he creeps me out! I would give the girl time. Don't hang around her alot. If you were friends first just giver her space. Hang out once a month and don't do anything flirty.

Well that happened to me and my now fiance. We were on the phone and all he said was i fell in love with you. I just was in shock because i had had a really hard life and i was cutting myself and on drugs and he was the one to get me off them and he was my best friend. I told him that i would call him back later and after we got off the phone i just stared at my wall in my room. After and hour i called him back and right when he answered i said i love you too. He asked me out right then and now we have been together for 1 year and 3 days. So i just say tell her and hope for the best. It will all work out as god planned it

It can very awkward but I just tell them the truth and let them know that I only see them as a friend and nothing more. Some have taken it well and others would rather not be anything at all.

I don't mind...if someone loves you you can't reject love..if he just fancies you then u can move on...!
I had some situations...my best friend (which is a guy),i tolled him i like him...but we are still best friends after 6 months...and now we are closer than ever-but i don't like him anymore-
anyway i think i can be friends with an ex and someone who sees me more than a friend..but if this is getting annoying then i wouldn't mind stopping any kind of relationship....so if u say that u like someone and this someone rejects you then u don't try to persuade them that they really like you and they are wrong...just move on...and act like nothings happened!

This happened to me with a guy at work, he was nice enough - so we chatted & stuff, but then one day he asked me out three times (IN ONE DAY) and with each time I replied "I'm sorry, I'd rather just be friends". Obviously he didn't get the hint.
Anyway, after that he never talked to me again.
Seems it was a blow to his ego.

it's usually alittle awkward but
it depends sometimes it's awkward if you don't feel the same way and know you never could and sometimes some sparks fly, you never know
i had a situation like that and we've been dating for a few months now
Good Luck

ive been in the guys position before, make sure when you tell him, you dont get his feelings hurt anymore.. theres not a worse feeling in the world when you reveal to a girl that you like her, and she has no feelings back to you
just tell him the truth

This has only happened to me once, and the guy , who's still my friend, got his sister, my best friend, to ask me out for him. i had found out a few days earlier when another friend kept hinting at it. Since his sister asked and not me, it was fairly easy to pretend it never happened. however, i have asked a guy who was my firend out, and he has said no. although it was ackward for a few days, all got back to normal soon. It's always best to let your feelings be known. goodluck
