I don't know about that, but I love to use their baby lotion. It smells great. Sometimes I mix it with my hair gel to make my hair smell good.

Johnson's Baby shampoo is not for adults. The PH of this shampoo is at 7. Water is also at a 7 pH that is why the baby shampoo does not sting your eyes. Great for babies but because the shampoo is so mild, the shampoo can not re-close the scales of the hair, this means that if the hair scales are left open, blow-drying your hair or just brushing your hair will break it off. Having the scales stay open also means that the hair gets dirty quickly.
The scales protects the hair. Like a tree, the scales being the bark.
Normally a good shampoo will open the scales, all the dirt will wash out, then a good conditioner re-closes the scales, leaving the hair protected from breakage.
Buy yourself a good shampoo and conditioner.

I love it! Work great, makes my hair shiny, looks healthier, and only $3 for the equate version of the Johnson and Johnson brand (which is a huge bottle). It's also one of the mildest baby shampoos out there, free of soap, dyes, parabens, phlatates, etc.. Works better than the high-end, salon brands I used to use.

It is too alkaline for the hair, way too drying. It is meant to remove cradle cap in babies since their heads are not washed every day. Babies do not have enough hair to worry about being in condition.

It's just fine for adults. Since it is mild, it may not cut clean a naturally oily persons hair to their satisfaction. But no harm.

I would think it would be good for your hair, if it's good enough for a baby's hair. I also use their detangler.
