I have long, thin, straight hair. Very thin and extremely thin. It goes down about 6 inches above my belly button. I don't know how to get it cut. Right now I have an angle in the front. Starting at my sholders and going down. I'm tired of it. Also I play sports, so a haircut that won't get in the way would be best. Thanks for answering! =)

What you could do is pick up a tabloid/fashion mag like People, US, Vogue... etc, and hunt through it to find something you like. Once you do, bring it into the hairdresser's and ask for it. :]

Had loooong straight as a needle blonde hair forever. Cut it last winter and LOVE it. just be brave, ask a friend who has a great cut who to go to - or look for reviews of stylists in your area, and ask for their specific advice. But go short girl! It will grow back - and short cuts let hair have WAY more body and life to it. Hair gets stringy and thin when its too long - because the oil on our scalp can't get to the ends, it gets brittle, and it breaks.

A pixie cut usually works well with people who have thin hair. If you were to get it cut short mousse always works well to give volume and since a pixie cut is really short it will never get in the way.

i would get ur hair cut shorter, especially if ur in sports

**when u get ur hair cut, make sure you go to a good salon and ask your hairdresser for a cut that adds volume to ur hair. She should know what ur talking about and give your hair layers to make it look thicker and really cute**

good luck!

Spikey all over. My hair was to my waist and that's what I did and I liked it. My hair was thin as well.
