Would you avoid that place, or would you knowingly 'forge ahead'?

Why would you avoid it? What if, before you died, you'd experience some of the best times of your life?

being one that believes in God and HIS authority I would simply look at it as if it's God's will, I'll be there at that time no matter what I, in my foolish mortal body, try to do.

I'd 'forge ahead,' but I would hope it would be at age ninety from exhaustion after dancing the night away or from eating too much chocolate. Might as well go happy.

the future is not set ... i believe we can change things
however i did hear one story about a man who did just that , and in his avoidance of the event only brought about his own death anyway ...
but that is only one instance
and also sometimes when we see things it can have a symbolic rather than a literal meaning ... so the death may not be a physical death but perhaps a spiritual one that brings about a new begining
i know i havent answered your question ... but given some things to think about xx

I was watching this show about a base jumper the other day. He said he knows he is going to die and it will probably be base jumping but he'll do it anyway.

I guess we should all be like that otherwise we'll be locked in our homes all day hoping the circuit breakers don't fail.

I would avoid it until I was ready to die. This is why we can't know when we are gonna die. I wouldn't care how good my life could be if I went there.

Nobody will scape from death. Nobody likes death, but we are so dear to Death.
One time a man, in San Francisco, who was working for his master, when to a market place and over there he saw a "Death" personified, "Death" made a face when he saw him, the man got so scared and run away. He told his master what happened and drove away to Los Angeles. The master when to the market and question "Death" why did he scare his servant, and "Death" replied: "well, this man is suppose to die now in Los Angeles and i have to go there and taking him with me. I made a face because i wondered "what is he doing here?
You got it?

Reminds me of a story I heard years ago. It seems this servant and his master were on a business trip. As they came around a corner, they came face to face with the "Angel of Death". It scared the servant so much that he took off running, and ran all the way to the next town. The master looked at the angel and asked, "Why did you scare my servant so terribly?" The angel replied, "I didn't mean to. I was as surprised as he was to meet here. You see, I was supposed to meet him in the next town down the road".

We can't cheat death, but we do have the freedom to meet it on our own terms.

I have no fear in death- for I know I will meet my Saviour face to face then. That is when my eternal life begins...it is what I look forward to- not that I want to die, but that I long to meet Jesus face to face. For now, I only seek His help and strength as I go through this life- hoping He will use me to speak to others and that He will save others as they hear His wonderful Gospel of Salvation!

I'd forge ahead.

And I'd take out a GIGANTIC life insurance policy on myself timed just right, so that I'd only make one payment on the policy.

i would avoid it just to see the space-time continuum disintegrate and the entire universe come crashing down around us. actually, i believe that if one saw how they would die and had the proclivity to try to avoid the very situation then they would inadvertantly wind up causing themselves to be where they were in the "vision" of the future, i.e. the vision would be them seeing the result of them trying to avoid what they saw in the vision.

I wouldn't want to know. But I think I'd just "forge ahead". I walk by faith, not by sight....or at least I try to.
