Yep, I was totally in love when he dumped me. Then I went out of state for a few months and then came back. I found out he'd been trying to get back with me, so we got back together and then I realized I wasn't really in love like I thought. So it was a great way to get closure to the relationship because it allowed me to move on without wondering "what if"?
I'd say that if you go back to your relationship, go back on your own terms. You call the shots this time and if it's not what you want, get out of there and move on with your life.

Yes i had my ex after me many times... i did get back with him because our arguement and reason we broke up was not too serious... he appolygized and that was pretty much enough.. it took him less than 20 minutes that leaving me was a mistake and my phone rang nonestop until i picked up.. but of course, you cant seem despirate.. i waited about 3 days until i told him i would get back wit him... for those 3 days i showed him how it would be between us if we were only friends.. it hurt him to see that we no longer held hands... or kissed... or anything.. we are still together until this day an we do not make the same mistakes as before.. it hasnt been too long but for my first serious relationship, it is amazing.

My ex dumped me cuz he thought he found someone better, she was cool and all upfront. As the relationship went on he realized she wouldn't do somethings fun that I would and her personality changed. She wasn't what he thought. He asked me to come back to him, but at that point my heart was broken and I no longer wanted the person he had become. He ended up marrying her and still to this day he calls wanting me...sorry not going to happen!

you need to think about how much it hurt when they dumped you and for what reasons they did this. if you have strong feelings for this person and don't believe you will get hurt again, then go ahead go back to them.
for me it was only a couple of days and it was hard the whole time because we have all the same friends. heartbreak is never easy, it's harder every time.
just listen to your heart and do what you think is in your best interest.

Yes, after years he came back... same bad relation, so i dumped him.
Also I did it once dumped him (other guy) then called again because I was bored... not good thing to do.

Yes. I didn't go back. If he wasn't smart enough to appreciate what he had the first time, he wasn't going to wise up the second time. I don't think it was more than a couple of weeks before he was apologizing and sending flowers.

Awwww the sweet revenge.
My motto with relationships is I never go back.
I figure whatever happened in the past between me and that person, somewhere down the line it didn't work.
So why go back?????

uhh yes actually....first time we dated we werent that serious....then broke up for the summer but he was really nice about it and still talked to me some and then towards the end of the summer he decided that he took his chance with me for granted and wanted a second chance and i of course still had something for him..so after like 2 months we got back together and dated for like 4 months until my ex best friend stole him....which was AWESOME....

it happened to me, and i took her back after about a month. Then i broke up with her a week later, so I ended the relationship!
