gosh you must be pulling out your hair, well now your dog has the habit of barking at anything & nothing it´s going to be a tuff one to get him to stop. have you tried getting him straight in front of you , look at him and say NO a firm word , have a small treat ready to give him if he responds to your command. it´s all to do with your voise . after you have given him the treat give a nice clap and a little cuddle then walk away , do the same again . all young dogs love attention , so if you want him to stop barking you have to give him plenty

Some breeds love to bark and it is hard to train them not to. My advice to you would be to following:
Everytime the dog starts to bark: "Shhh!" him. get his attention and make him stop barking. having him on a leash can help because it gives you more control. When the dog is quiet for a few seconds, tell him what a good boy he is and give him a treat.
When he stops barking relaibly, start mixing up the treat. Some times he gets a treat, some times you just tell him "good boy" and give him a pat. Some times he gets three treats all at once (jack pot)! This is a way of fazeing out the treats. It's like playing scratch offs, ppl do it b/c sometime they win... if they know that they will hit the "jack pot" every now and then, they are more likely to keep doing it, even though they don't get something every time.
It is important that you NEVER let him keep barking. You ALWAYS have to correct him (unless you want him to bark at a specific time like when someone comes to the door) Whenever he is barking at an unoppropriate time, you stop the behavior. You have to be consistant. If you let him slide sometimes, and correct him at others, he won't learn!
Good luck

Look for a pattern to see if he always barks when there is another person in the room or if he heard a noise. If you can't find a pattern go to your local pet store and buy puppy training spray that you spray in the dog's mouth whenever he barks. It has a sour taste to it so after a while he will learn not to bark.

he is barking at you because he keeps getting a positive reaction from you. (you give him attention).
you need to tell him no very firmly when he barks then ignore him. If he continues to bark after you've told him no, put him in a place of time out, like a bathroom or something.
when he quiets down, give him the attention he wants.

First make sure he is not hurting for some reason. Second walk him for longer periods or more exercise. Also praise him when he is not barking until he learns that you give him attention only when he is not barking. It worked with my dog.

hve him neutered first of all.... find out what he is barking at,,, you are not reading your dog... he is barking at something...( i hope that he is not tied out ) if so, he is bored ..... but if he is inside barking there is a reason... could be ***** in heat , squirrels outside,,, mice in your walls etc. ALSO,,, giving him toys will not help as much as you playing with the toys with him
