Get a vet to check her out!

She should see a vet. If she's not walking on it, it hurts. She could have something stuck in her pads, she could be cut, she could have broke a toe... who knows. Best to see a vet.

It COULD also be (since you said she's been licking/itching for awhile) a food allergy (or other allergy). If it is, she could be not walking on it now because she's chewed it so bad it hurts. In which case you'll need to experiment with low allergen foods (cut out corn first... that's the #1 allergen). I'd see a vet first though cuz it can take a LONG time to pinpoint an allergy... all of which will prove useless if it was just a splinter.

I dont' know about the stomach thing...but she could have something stuck in her paw or she might have allergies. Just guessing...she might have gas, the reason her stomach is making funny noises. I would have her checked by a vet for both, before she makes her paw worse by messing with it.

I do not think the tummy problem is related to the foot issue. I had a dog with the exact same symptoms-it was an allergy to fleas! I did not even think my dog had a single flea on him. Turns out medication from the vet, and the once a month flea control that you can get from a vet was all he needed.

Your dog probably had an allergic reaction to something. It could be from food to an insect bite, and your best bet is to take her to a vet who can give you a diagnosis and give you medication to help. If its allergies, which is why its red and she keeps licking it, I would think back to when it started and see if she/he did anything unusual or ate something they weren't supposed to. Best bet, though is to see a vet right away. hope that this helps out. My fiance's sister has an allergy to specific foods, and his face, ears and paws turn red. Poor things. Good luck.

She could have something stuck in or or dog mites in her paw. You want to take her to your vet ASAP and have him check her out.

Until you can get there let her foot sit in some warm water. Then dry it and apply some peroxide on the paw and in between the paw pads as well.

Sounds like she may have a splinter or something. If she's not walking on it, I would be very concerned. Please take her to the vet.
