I took two pills (25 mg each for a total 50 mg) about an hour ago, but I am only getting worse. I have to take the stuff daily, but today is rather bad. So, what would the maximum safe dosage be? Can I take another pill?

Sadly, there is nothing else to help. I've tried it all. And I am way beyond the knocking out thing. It no longer makes me the faintest bit sleepy.

50 mg. Max of 300mg in a day. 25-50mg by mouth every 4hrs for rhinitis, allergy symptoms motion sickness, parkinsons.
Children 12.5 max 300mg daily.
For sedation/night time sleep aid 25-50mg

Yep, you can take more, but I wouldn't make any plans for the rest of the day if you do - sometimes my allergies are so severe it takes 100 mg (4 pills) to knock them down, but it also knocks me OUT. :) Do NOT take more than the maximum recommended dosage (on the bottle) in 24 hours, and if your allergies persist this badly, then please call your doctor, because there IS other stuff out there that can help. I hope you feel better. :)

I just took {4} Benadryl is that safe or can it hurt me I have azma .and i,m on a nebulizer and pills that help to control it, but there not working do to my cold . can u help??
