Frankly, it seems self-absorbed to assume the Creator is involved in each personal victory of a Christian. To thank Jehovah for a victory is to suggest that Jehovah personally "decided" that less "successful" Christians must be less "blessed".

Not sure. I always feel skeptical when a Celebrity claims to believe something as the very nature of their industry is a popularity contest. If he is good for him. I will not be convinced till I talk to him, which probably won't happen since I ain't nobody special. Only Jehovah knows what a person feels.

I always see it as silly when one thanks God for winning an award or a Football game.

As far as I know, he is. He knows now that God is not involved in the music industry, just as He is not involved when someone makes a touchdown or hits a homerun. Prince is growing as a Christian.

Prince, a Jehovah's Witness, is thought to be against having surgery as his religion does not allow blood transfusions, but his doctors have been prescribing anti-inflammatory drugs to help him cope.
