Well i a bit split on this because well i think you should follow your heart and if you love someone you love them but the age gap is huge!!!
Its one of my friend who asked me about it and i realy didnt know what to say!!!! HELP

I feel it's disgusting.
16 year old girls are still developing emotionally and sometimes physically, although they may look like adults ready for a good time, they are simply not. It would be irresponsible and strange for a man that much out of her age-range to date her, and probably speak more about the man's lack of ability to connect to other adults than the 16 year old girl herself. Sure, when he is 44 and she is 30 that doesn't matter as much because both parties are adults, but no one is an adult at age 16.
Gross, and if I were the mother of a 16 year old girl and a 30 year old wanted to date her I would minimally get a restraining order. Minimally.

At 16, an age gap of 14 years is a bit too much. Having said that, age difference is relevent to the actual ages of the individuals involved. I am 53 and have a g/f of 36, which is an age difference of 17 years, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as big an age difference as 14 years is for a 16 yr old (almost twice her age in that case).
I'm not sure which part of the world you are in, but in most countries, including the UK, it would not be illegal, as the age of consent is generally around 15/16 yrs for girls, although some may consider it to be immoral on the guy's part.
At the end of the day, it's very much up to the individuals to work out for themselves.

Erm.
Most likly he had over protective strict parents so did not grwo up when others did, so never could compete for girlsfriends...
So most likly the girls is more experienced then he is.
And looking for somone to do the first make out on a golf coure, round about etc with.
Ie somone he can finanly catch up with as everyone his age has been there, done theat, and long term relationships.
thats what is more real not this ...
Only interested in sex bollocks...
What do they have in common.?
Most likly love of concerts, snowboarding, music, movies
Playing, tickling, public affection, going to parties etc etc.
Which the older guys mates dont want to do any more as all coupled up so his life is boring and miserable and lonley and wants to hang out in a big group of mates and partying, and stage diving, and dance offs and all the fun stauff...
And not somone into curtains and boring cocktail parites and so called parties where you be boring and proper and have no fun.
Who hates suits etc.
As long as a loves B, B loves A neithr is manipulating the other... and happy everyone else can go **** themselves with their nasty properness rubbish.

Usually 14 yr age difference acceptable. Mmmmm 16? Most people experimenting at that age and some enjoy doing something that will get the tongues wagging. Also although 30 yrs old often feels good dating younger girls would thing most would go for 19 plus and the average 30 yrs old probably think 16 yr old still immature. The guy could be genuine but wouldn't like it to be my daugher.

A 30 yr old guy really should be looking into having kids and stuff, not chasing after young girls who got their whole lives ahead of them.
I know men are supposed to be a bit immature for their age but what the hell is this all about?
It could be the real thing... but is that very likely?

I did this many years ago, and married him. Worst mistake of my life. Age difference matters less as you get older because you have your own life experience to start with. I gradually felt left out of all his friends conversations because basically some of the stuff they were talking about I hadn't been born for! Think about it this way, he was leaving secondary school when you started primary school. What would you call a person like that? Sorry to be harsh but its the truth-what is his reason for going out with someone SO much younger?

She's far too young to sustain a 30 year old attention for more than a few months.
All the time he'll need to use her.
Then, he'll dump her and move on to the next.

Im agenst most people on here, when i was 15 i was with a 26 year old, now im 16 and we are still together, engaged everything, its up to you to decide, but as soon as he starts taking advantige LEAVE! that is the sign he just wants you for....his plesure!
Be with him if you realy love him, you are now old enough to make your own desions! Its like anyone else just thin about it, i mean
when your 20 hell be 34.... are you ready for that?
but its totally your choice

Dont it's wrong. girl that are 16 should go out with someone around there ago. For example 15, 16, 17, 18, maybe 19

It is very wrong because at sixteen it don't seem right a 30 yr old man seeing her if she was about 24 and seeing someone with a gap that big it don't seem so pervy
