I believe they go into heat twice a year. But they are on their own cycle just like any other girl. Just wait a while longer. I don't think there's anything you can do to make it happen, it just happens when her time comes.
My parents bred a few litters of our two pet dogs when I was very young, but that was a LONG time ago.

Most female dogs only go in heat every 6 months. A few (very few) go in every 3-4 months, but this is rare.
You shouldn't be breeding anyway if you don't know even the very basics, your dogs aren't health tested (not just simple vet exams), your dogs haven't ben shown or evalauted to make sure they meet breed standard.
Bulldogs are also very prone to complications during whelping and often need emergency c-sections among other serious issues.
You need to do lots of research on your breed and LEARN a whole lot more about breeding BEFORE you even consider it. Breeding is a BIG responsability!!!

I have read some of the replies that you have gotten from others, and just to let you know, most of them are full of it. I am a Vet Tech, and I have been breeding chihuahuas since I was 18. It is perfectly fine to breed dogs, as long as you breed for a better breed. And getting to your question, Their are some medications out their to "PUT" your dog into heat, but I do not recommend them. Almost always, your dog would have to be spayed before the litter is born, because all of the medications are toxic to her reproductive system. This means the pups will be aborted. Good Luck with your efforts.

Well sounds like a normal dog - the heat cycle is much longer than 4 months - 6 months+ is normal- afraid you can't beat mother nature. Sorry you didn't buy a money machine - especally after you pay for AI since few bulldogs can breed naturally and the c-section since even fewer whelp naturally.

Most come in heat every 5-6 months. Have you done all your homework to make absolutely sure these dogs should be bred.Just because you paid a lot for them(if you did) does not make them breeding material either. Most dogs on this earth should not be bred. You should only breed if by doing so you are improving the breed as a whole. As long as there stands one dog on death row there is no need to breed.

You can't make a female go into heat! They naturally go into heat usually 2 times a year, but it can vary based on the dog. If you are a competent breeder, than you know your dog's cycle and should be able to predict when she'll go into heat.
I hope you know that English buldogs often need to have c-sections to give birth.
And that these procedures can cost up to $2500.00!
I hope your female is at least 2 years old so that she will be able to handle the stress on her body!
I hope you're not as ignorant as you seem, for the sake of your dogs and the future litters that I'm sure you will make them have!!

You can't make you dog come into heat. Dogs come into heat about every 7 to 9 months so you are just going to have to wait.

You can't force a dog to come into heat. They go into heat every six months and sometimes they may skip a heat cycle. You'll have to wait!

DOH! if you need to ask this on here, you should not be breeding. especially a breed as prone to health issues as an english bulldog. why be so selfish? you want puppies? well, i sure hope your girl survives giving birth because YOU want puppies. i'm sure all the dogs dying in shelters will appreciate your back yard breeding too as they are being put to sleep. don't worry, they'll understand, YOU want puppies!
