How deep can it be to read a text literaly, without a sense of mystery? Do they really believe God is incapable of being more subtle than the people making Ikea furniture?

(Not that I have anything against Ikea furniture - they make great stuff)

They are beginners. Like a child with training wheels on a bike. It is frustrating for the rest of us to listen in sometimes, but they are just beginners in the faith and we must be patient. Hard to do, I know.

Taking a text literally doesnt mean it is the end of mystery nor the end of spirituality... to think you KNOW it all, is the end of mystery and spirituality. I have read the Bible cover to cover 12 times and I am on my 13th time through (Im in Joshua now) and every time so far, I have learned new things, and wondered new things. I do take the Bible litterally... in that I believe the message literally, not that it cant have a typo or minor error but there is a lot of information in there and always new revelations within the things already being spoken. To someone with an open mind, there is no end to mystery.

There's plenty of mystery left in trying to reconcile the "seemingly" contradictory passages instead of picking and choosing what you think they should mean. I think it takes more spirituality to literally love your enemy than it would to treat them as if you loved them. And sure God could be as subtle as He wanted, but why would He? What would He gain by making it harder to find Him?

If you really believe what the word of God says...you will understand life's greatest mysteries - which are far greater than the fantasies and imaginations of men.

All of churchianity is a pagan religion, which bears virtually no resemblance to the true belief of Scriptural worship. The Almighty's name is blasphemed among the nations because of the people who pretend to worship Him. (But they don't worship Him, they are worshiping themselves or devils)
