The call for prayers occurs 5 times daily. I know you're required to answer all 5, but how often do people ignore these? I'm not asking how often people are allowed to ignore these, I'm just trying to gauge how often people might voluntarily decide to ignore these. To put it bluntly and quite specifically, what percentage of the Muslim population, in your best estimation, periodically ignores calls for prayer?

I'm ignorant of these things so I'll apologize in advance if you find this to be a stupid question. But I'll appreciate your answers anyway. Thanks.

you are not supposed to ignore any. But humans are humans irrespective of their color, race, religion etc, we all think the same way. To answer your question, its unpredictable. In islamic countries, the percentage will be less compared to other countries for obvious reasons.
it also depends on the faith of the individual.

No question is a stupid question.

In my estimation, though I am not a Muslim (I apologize for the intrusion), many, but how much, I do not know. No such a survey exists.

Nevertheless, you should bear in mind that Muslims can pray anywhere they want. They do not have to go to the mosque. Also, if you are seriously sick and can't perform the physical rituals of prayer, you are excused. You can pray with your heart, though.

well, the call for the prayer is an indication that the time for this prayer is up---some ppl pray after right away---some in a later time but at least before the next call------it depends on ur situation at the time-----every Muslim try to keep the prayers on time-----unfortunately there is a big % of Muslims do only the Friday prayer and not the daily 5 prayers---i was one of them ---but usually later on god help them to be consistent .-----

I know im not supposed to ignore salaat as much as i do, with me having school and most prayers are set to what time i should do it, they cut in so to speak. The thing i dont want to risk is people getting out of hand, most dont know im a muslim and i'd like to keep it that way sad to say but true, as much as the Qur'an teaches not making friends with any non believers, well i do, i like them alot and i see no purpose for me to question someone else's position on creation, everyone has their own definition of their meaning in life.

PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!! IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE.
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And silence is the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that do not pray. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. I pray for all for each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy
in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.
God Bless!!!!!!!!!!! Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!! God, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, please.
