How do I set up an auto am-fm radio to work indoors?

Need step by step set up instructions to do this.

Auto as in automobile radio? You would need at least these parts:
1 - 12 volt power supply (3 amps should be sufficient)
2 - antenna with proper connector to radio
3 - speaker(s)

a boom box would be cheaper you know.
